Boy Band Sings While Amy Schumer Wears No Makeup
On Inside Amy Schumer, the eponymous star appeared without makeup in a hilarious send-up of boy bands. She tweeted out a call for people to tweet her photos of themselves sans makeup using the hashtag #GirlYouDontNeedMakeup. Good luck getting the catchy tune out of your head as you wash off that eyeliner!
Watch Amy Schumer Open the MTV Movie Awards
Comedy Central favorite (and future movie star, thanks to her sure-to-be summer hit, Trainwreck) Amy Schumer hosted the annual MTV Movie Awards this past weekend and, predictably, slayed the crowd. As per tradition, her emcee gig kicked off with a clip reel that inserted her into some of the night’s best-known nominated films (including Boyhood and Divergent) and sent her toe-to-toe with Oscar winner J.K. Simmons, doing his blustery Whiplash routine one more time.
But it wasn’t all fun and games! Schumer also showed off her (funny) dramatic chops with an homage to the three-hankie weeper The Fault Within Our Stars and a first-class ticket to The Hunger Games… inside the battle-intensive Arena. Hey, if she can survive the unruly Movie Awards crowd, she can survive anything.
Amy Schumer Finally Deemed Hot Enough For TV with ‘12 Angry Men’ Parody
12 Angry Men Inside Amy Schumer, a single sketch that spanned the whole half hour time slot on Comedy Central, asked the question “Is Amy Schumer hot enough to be on TV?” With Jeff Goldblum as foreman, the excellent guest star cast including Paul Giamatti, Vincent Kartheiser, John Hawkes, Chris Gethard, and Kumail Nanjiani agree, then disagree, then come to the verdict that she’s hot enough… for basic cable.
