im in a very feferi mood okay

so, i like to think of myself as a very open minded person. you have an opinion that differs from mine, OKAY NO BIG DEAL. NO NEED TO BREAK OUT THE GUNS. i think the homestuck fandom can understand this especially.

so im eating with a couple friends and acquaintances. joy (who is the source of the rage) and diana are having a conversation about hetalia, me being me i dont really care for hetalia so just let them do whatever. i continued to check tumblr on my phone.

the two had stopped conversing and we were all jus chillin n eatin. for about, the past month, joy has been obsessing over this boy. talking about him nonstop. I DONT CARE IF YOU LIKE SOMEONE AND WANNA TALK ABOUT HIM!! I DO THAT TOO SOMETIMES. but really, constantly talking about him is really really annoying and please stop okay.

so she just BURSTS OUT, "I CANNOT figure him out!" I ask, "Who? That dude you like?" she then continues to go on about him, "I've read like EIGHT psychology books since I met him and I still don't understand him!" I thought that was kind of weird but figured I'd lend her a hand in understanding this dude. even though apparently she just didnt want to talk to him like a normal person??

as some of you know i really really like zodiac stuff. I know a lot about it and I pride myself in occasionally being able to guess what sign someone is from their personality!

i ask her, "So when's his birthday?" since this is obviously the easiest way to know someones sign, "I DONT KNOW, WHY WOULD I KNOW." "I thought you were... friends?" in my opinion, the first step to dating a guy is becoming friends with him (and i know the birthdays of most of my friends so i figured she would know).

she then proceeds to tell me that he has an 'emotional barrier'. me being me, once again, say that based on that and that only theres a possibility hes either born in january or february (making him aquarius). Aquarians put emotional barriers around themselves and often seem emotionally distant. I understand that everyone does this, but its very prominent in air signs and Aquarius especially.

"I DONT BELIEVE IN THAT BULLSHIT!"

so lets take this into context, lets say you have a very positive feelings towards something and your friend has a very negative feeling towards it. If you bring it up, with all your positiveness your friend might incline to tell you that they dont much care for it. Okay, thats cool. Now I know to not talk to you about it since youre not interested. Youre not being a total bitch, youre just politely informing me you dont care for the subject.

do you understand how rude it is to call it bullshit? I felt insulted personally. Its okay that she doesnt believe in it, I personally believe in it due to my own personal research and results but thats me. 

Joy goes on to talk about how she looked up stuff about her (shes a leo) and said they were all wildly different and thats why she didnt believe in this 'bullshit'. I proceed to tell her its because she likely didnt look up all of her signs (since you DO have more than one!). she then gets mad, turns around, and storms out.

i flip her the fuck off.
