"Oh Sweetheart I'm so sorry," Atlas said earnestly as he knelt by Kara's side and gingerly raised her bound hands "Did I tie it too tight?" he kissed over the ropes delicately. "Just didn't want you panicking and hurting yourself... Promise you'll be calm if I untie you?" Kara didn't full understand this yet. Didn't see they were meant to be and Atlas could and would treat her like the treasure she was. This was just a temporary measure. One he hated to take but needed.
"Atlas, what are you doing? Is this a game? A joke? I don't understand why you drugged me and tied me up? Did I do something to make you angry at me." Her words became more frantic with each statement. She knew where he'd taken her but again, she didn't understand what he was trying to do. He'd said some things that were strange and they'd been staying away from each other since. She needed space and although he wouldn't admit it, he did too.
Kara took a deep breath, calming herself because if she didn't, then she'd never find her phone or get out of the house. It hit her, he'd put those new expensive locks that have to have a code to unlock them, inside or out. At least he liked windows in his construction so that she could find one of those to escape. Kara held her hands up, nodding her head. What could she do with him anyway. If he wanted to hurt her, he was huge, covered in muscles and although she was a dancer and she was all muscle, it was lithe muscle and she was only five foot.
"Please untie them. They are leaving marks and you know that Madame Leanora will not let me dance if I have marks. You know I have rehearsal tonight. How can I get home and changed before I have to be there, Atlas. You've got to let me go. I'll come back and we can talk about all of this. I'm not mad, I promise."
