a lot of people on tumblr’s first pokemon game was sapphire/ruby so there’s a lot of nostalgia. also the remake gap for sapphire/ruby is 2 years longer than it was for gold/silver so it feels overdue

frozen has such terrible pacing. like. anna’s DYING and then they basically pause that for a folksy musical number and it just completely ruins the tension and drama it had a moment earlier
i know!! the story felt so false and manufactured like it didn't progress naturally it was PUSHED along by the dialogue and the music. another example of this is in the beginning when elsa runs away and shes singing let it go and she makes a complete switch from being ashamed & scared of her powers to being totally confident in like, one verse
