Gap to Soul all the way - Atlas, Bijlmermeer Amsterdam. We skated the shit out of Atlas back in the day, it was one of the few areas which had spots which wouldn’t get wet when it rained, which was 8 out of 12 months in Holland. I believe Derk Alberts took this pic, circa 2000. Getting low on the Soulgrind like a proper oldschool head. Around this time we were out shooting loads of pics for the Dbmag.com offshoot Holland Pages. One of the first online magazines to exist. “Old School” was one of the many themes of the Hanglosers bowlcontest.
