      “But, Mors, is it not exhausting? Knowing your own people care not so much for your life as your line... Where it will lead, into whose hands your powers will someday devolve...” Stopping here, red lips pursed, then smiled-- a genuine smile, despite the amusement that infused it.

"Would you like to know? Are you sure you can handle that information?"

She frowned at the perfect gown that now lie torn on the floor next to the bed. She really liked that one... Perhaps that was the mistake. He seemed to enjoy being a little bit of a menace when it came to the clothes he doted on her and she took a special liking to. Oh well. 

Luna stretched languidly within his arms, her once shyness about being naked all the time, even with him, having dissolved. Or maybe that had been his intentions all along.

“Not at all. He should adopt more bastards, in my opinion, you see, I am hoping one of you kills him.”

Ardyn snorted and changed his position. No longer leaning on the doorframe, he instead stood inside of it, with his arms crossed and head tilted in curiosity. 

“Do you get something out of your son being dead? Or do you just not like him.” He sounded much more sarcastic than a child his age should be capable of sounding.
