This is Benny. This photo was taken a few years ago, but he just turned 40 this month making him the oldest male Sumatran orangutan in North America! He and Blaze (from yesterday) got together to create my favorite member of their family, who shall be featured tomorrow...
And of course, Pongo. Pongo is so photogenic I could dedicate an entire month to him! He was born to Blaze & Benny via c-section so was initially raised by keepers at Atlanta Zoo (top 2), but was able to be reunited with his parents (bottom 2). More pics of the family tomorrow.
