[ 700 HOURS - THE MORNING OF THE FIGHT ] DOCTOR BISHOP'S CLINIC

Valerian wakes up somewhere unexpected.

Val: .... //groan// (why does everything hurt?) (where?)

Ami: Oh Valerian! Good! You're awake! We were worried you would sleep through the whole day! Val: What's going on? What day is it? Ami: Don't worry. You haven't missed anything. I'm afraid you had a very unfortunate run in last night. Can you tell me the last thing you remember?

Valerian: I was playing chess... with Hedy... She was losing again but seemed more chipper than usual.

Val: She started yelling at Khalid... told him to clear out of the lounge or something.

There was always an excited buzz in the air around the employees of the Dry Creek National Facility when a fight was near. It was a great break from the drudgery of Government Office work.

It wasn't uncommon for bets to be placed on who would be the next up for promotion. You had the underdog of course,

The Wild Card,

the Favorite,

and the strongest and most consistent. No one wanted this more than Hedy. She deserved it. No one had worked harder than her for this. With potentially one exception.

FIGHT DAY All the most important deco sims showed up to see what the teens could do! Unfortunately, so did the lag, so I didn't get that many good pictures.

Eventually I settled for locking everyone in the ring and just having them brawl until someone won. Val was able to defeat test, but got knocked out in his second round by Khalid.

Thursday did some cool vampire shit, easily defeating Khalid, and Tuesday sent Scarlett through a rainbow of emotions.

Mornings were for active skilling and in the evenings the teens got some free time to play games and hang out.

Doctor Ami would make regular visits to her clinic to check on the kids and make sure everyone's vitals were in order.
