[Yesterday, I was re-playing KH2 for the umpteenth time when I thought of this... it's kind of just....stupid thoughts xD] In the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2, when you're playing as Roxas and about to fight your first match in the Struggle Tournament, the announcer says, "Today's first match will be between Roxas and his best friend, Hayner!" After you defeat Hayner, you move on to Vivi and then Vivi isn't actually Vivi and blah, blah. Skip to the part where after you defeat the Nobodies and Axel comes in. He starts out with "Roxas, alright~. Fight Fight Fight~," but there is this air of like...sarcasm or something around him. I've played this game a million times, but I had never really thought into this scene very very much, but as I progressed into the first battle with Axel, I came up with this:  What if Axel had been watching the Struggle Tournament from the beginning? If you aren't immediately clicking with what I'm trying to get at, then think back to 358/2. Or you can even go back to what Namine tells Roxas later on; that Axel was his best friend.
