  two  thousand  years  filled  with  nothing  but  a  miserable  existence  ,  it  finally  led  up  to  a  moment  which  was  yearned  for  :  death .  surprise  ,  surprise  —  life  had  an  amusing  way  of  pulling  what  one  could  only  refer  to  as  a  fast  one  over  him  thrice  now .  and  this  time  around  ,  it  had  the  sheer  audacity  to  return  the  former  witch  into  a  form  which  came  to  be  loathed  ;  sought  to  be  rid  of  ,  and  yet  it  came  creeping  back  in  like  a  disease .  one  which  he  could  only  assume  was  a  shared  dislike  upon  the  striking  beauty  whom  could  not  be  mistaken  for  her  lesser  lookalikes .  the  scowl  ,  the  annoyance  seemed  to  slip  away  within  an  instant  as  he  strolled  forward  to  approach  the  other  ,  “  amara . ”  speaking in a soft tone ,  “  do my eyes deceive me ? ”
