The Nat Bartsch Trio is an emerging Australian jazz ensemble creating reflective, beautiful music, filled with clarity and soulfulness. The group showcases the compositions of pianist Nat Bartsch (winner of the prestigious 2010 Melbourne Prize for Music Development Award), and her unique arrangements of contemporary popular music.

This must be some of the most euphoric and enthusing music I stumbled upon over the last few months. It's full of charming ideas, tiny little melodies, refreshing sounds and zig-zags with every single note second. I wouldn't even know a name for the genre it fits into, it's a melting pot of so many. And I hope to finf out more about the musician soon.
