And like a phantom pain of having that Grimm gunge on her face draining the powers from her, Amber placed a hand on her facial scars, almost like she was telling her body that she was safe and no longer had to fear Cinder, yet it hurt still.

She was soon woken by Lia, a sharp gasp leaving Amber's mouth, she looked frightened, and rightfully so, but this nightmare had been going on for some months ever since she was saved from her situation.

Amber maybe prefer staying in with a hot drink and something to watch, she's not one for dressing up and going to places unless it's a friend's party

Originally, I was going to have it so Amber did go back into her old clothing before her attack, but it wasn't sure if that'd make sense from a character perspective, hence the custom uniform I gave her as a post-attack thing, with it being made to be better capable of withstanding attacks like those she was hit with during her fight with Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury.

Amber was to go back on the road again, she was after visiting her parents’ home, with how she had been silent on her end, Amber simply wanted to see them to let them know she was alright, facial scarring aside.

But, with none of her usual allies to keep her protected with them busy with other things, Ozpin would call on the assistance of someone who he would put the care of Amber into for the time being, Liadan, from the long-former Team ALMD.

He would arrange it so Amber would meet Lia at the train station in Vale City, simply as it was quicker to get to where Amber’s family was located by train than by taking an air-ship or car.
