HAPPY BIRTHDAY @positivelyamazonian !!!

Yes. This fanart is your birthday gift this year. I wish I could have bought you something but the future is uncertain to say the least and there’s a lot going on, you know it. So I thought that the best gift I could give you (according to the circumstances) was my time, my effort and my love for your fanfics.

Also, I know you love when someone draws something about your fanfics and even if I drew your characters I’m not happy with those drawings AT ALL. Ofc they were my first digital drawings with the iPad and you understand that it’s all I could do back then.

I’ve wanted to draw the bamboo cage since I read that chapter but I just didn’t feel like I was ready for it.

Drawing Lara is not easy for me. After all, she’s made of polygons and I always use real people as reference when I draw. However, I’m particularly happy with this older AoD Lara. When I draw scenes with Lara, I want the art to be cartoonish. It’s the first time I’m proud of the result.

Surely you remember my first attempt which was also inspired by one of your fanfics (Tomb Raider The Golden Seal). It was Lara looking at the Chirugai. I imagined she was doing that just before the first chapter of your fanfic. Well, it’s a mess. Now when I see it, I’m ashamed XD I failed completely when trying to draw the cartoonish/comic style I pursue.

This time I’ve wanted to add a quote so everyone can see the source of my inspiration. After talking to @luluvonv @hydraballista and @adayka we decided this was the best one. I had another 2 options and I’ll send you the sketches. I will also send you the original without the quote for you to do whatever you want with it.

A lot of talking here. I must be really bored if I’m taking all this time to write.

Salt of Solidarity design based off of my headcannons!!!

He has moth features that are based of salt marsh moths and small emerald green moth! He also has cocktail ant but those are hidden under the helmet ^-^

bug boi. I feel like he would have inner mandibles in the sense that the can be flattened behind his cheeks and stem from the gums above the canine teeth. Not very noticeable since the coloring matches the inside of his gums and cheek. I also think his antenna would start off small and the coloring is very similar to his hair color and would blend in. I believe that once he gets access to hair gel he does put his hair up in a way that his antenna remain hidden even as they get longer. Also near his atenna he could have the organ of Tömösváry, which is a bunch of sensitive cells that can detect vibrations. (Kai would most likely hate people touching his hair or scalp bc of this)
