People these days laugh at you because you are trying to be a better Muslim. Because you are trying to pray the 5 obligatory prayers. Because you are trying to dress modestly. Because you are turning down invitations where there is fitnah. Because you are advising them to do the same since you want the best for them.

But that shouldn't make you sad. That shouldn't make you deviate from your goal. Even if you are being called "selfish" be it. Jannah is worth every heartache, every struggle and if you lose your chance to attain it, then you are the biggest loser. And on that day, no one could save you. No one.

This year, learn not to feel bad when they compare their accomplishments to yours. Okay?

You are doing so great, my love.

I know you may be doubting yourself; doubting your strength, doubting your worth and doubting whether you are on the right path or not.

I am here to tell you, that you are strong, you are worthy and you are exactly where you are meant to be. If you feel overwhelmed and find yourself worrying about all of these things, take a step back, darling.

Focus on the twenty-four hours in front of you. You only have to make it through this day. Do not think about every little thing you need to accomplish in the next few hours, days, weeks or months. Focus on now.

Life doesn’t always introduce you to the people you want to meet. Sometimes, life puts you in touch with the people you need to meet to help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you, and to gradually strengthen you into the person you were meant to become.
