Ted glanced around the dance floor, keeping an eye out for Amara. The two had plotted  a fairly sophisticated plan for this holiday if he should he say so himself. In fact, Ted had become quite the schemer this Valentine’s Day and while he was excited for the result should the plan work, there was quite a lot that could go wrong along the way. Spending Valentine’s Day with Andromeda was something he assumed would be impossible and it very nearly was. But only nearly. With the help of a few friends, Ted and his sneaky team had figured out a way that the two might be able to sneak away unnoticed. It was complicated, required a bit of misdirection, deception, and a number of other tricks to avoid the wrong bit of attention, but should the stunt work, Ted and Andromeda would get their Valentine’s Day together with no one but those in on the ruse the wiser.

It wasn’t difficult to spot Amara in the crowd. The heels she wore tonight allowed her to tower above the majority of the party goers, and she was even taller than Ted for once. Locking eyes with her, he smiled a bit nervously. It was about time to execute the plan. He began making his way across the courtyard, making sure to nudge as many students out of his way as possible, the more witnesses to his plan the better. “Amara!” He called to her. “Happy Valentine’s Day!”
