On entering the theater, they pretty much immediately funneled Premium into the handshake, though apparently some people split off to hit up the goods table. We had all expected that the handshake would go in reverse debut order, so when we finally saw the girls and it was like "shit, shit, Dawa is first, abort, reboot," hah. I had a plan for what to say to each of the girls, going in. For some of the girls, I had a tailored thing to say, and for the rest, I was aiming to say "Please come to America!" as that seemed like it might be memorable for them to go from a wave of French and Japanese fans to suddenly three Americans and a British, hah, and we did want to reinforce that UFA should send them to the US asap. I personally also planned to try and high-five and/or fist-bump some of the girls. (Earlier, we did a Fermi estimate of how long it would take to do the handshake event, to try and figure out how early they should start the event to not delay the concert start. Assuming 250 Premium attendees to the get through, and 5 seconds per member, the equation would be "the time for the last Angerme member to shake each attendees hands" plus "the time for the first attendee to reach the last member," or (250*5)+(5*9), coming out to ~22 minutes. Pfffft.) As it always is with handshakes, though, you get shoved down the line and when you're face to face, all plans go to shit. My planned messages to the first few girls were a success. I told Ayacho congrats on her graduation, in English, which surprised her, and told her I was from America. She thanked me. I told Kananan happy birthday, and she yanked me in for like a second handshake, that fisher. I asked Takechan "Next Haropro sub-leader?" and she was just confused, gave a generic "yay!" answer. I thanked Rinapuu for coming and asked her to come to America. And then suddenly Murotan Prettiness all in my face and oh lawdy I choked so hard for the next few members it was bad. It was just like stumbling through thank yous for her and Rikako. I tried for high-fives, but am very sad to report that none of the girls are good at high-fives. WEAK. And then I get to Kamiko and before I can say anything she preempts by saying "Hi! I am Moe" and, like, what can you even say to that. Yes. Yes, you are Moe. So much moe. All of the moe. Moemoemoemoemoemoemoe. Chicchako moe. And then I was so flustered and The Full Kassa Earnestness didn't make things any better. (High fives for these two were also WEAK, sigh) Luckily, I could rally to give the planned "Country saikou" to Funaki, which got a good reaction from her. So for all of these girls, the handshake itself was about the same. A gentle two-hand grasp and shake. Even for members like Takechan and Rikako. Maybe Kananan's was little firmer. But I finish with Funaki and Kawamuu just GRABS my hands and it's the most genki thing and it's actually a Real Strong Firm Proper Handshake and good golly Kawamuu is a true fisher. She held on a long as staff would let her, and would try to give a finishing genki pose to each person. The handshake took place to the standing area left of the stage, so as we filtered through we could then choose where to watch the concert from, and still see the girls. Our group found a place just one or two people from the railing, on the far stage right (on the lowest standing area), and we all commiserated on how badly we all choked during the handshake, and on how amazing Kawamuu's handshake was. One of the women on the railing was in a Manner Mode cosplay, and we got an intro to that group of fans from our UK cohort, as they had gone to the C-ute and Juice=Juice concerts, as well. I kind of regret not taking a photo of the girls during/right after the handshake, though. Yeah, we were really all pretty gross and sweaty. No air conditioning in La Cigale, hot weather, and more and more bodies filling the place. Blergh. As we waited, people starting doing member yells, including all of us taking turns doing troll yells for graduated members, Yanamin, and other H!P members lol. Amaitsuki was the cover group picked via contest to be the opening act. I really enjoyed them! They sang the songs, rather than lip-syncing, and were quite good, even doing a short MC in both French and Japanese, with flawless pronunciation of the latter. I understand some assholes on the center railing turned their lightsticks off during Amaitsuki because they supported another dance group that didn't win, which is fandom wank bullshit. But it was nice getting to enjoy some non-Angerme performances by Amaitsuki. They worked the crowd really well, in addition to performing the choreo, which not all dance groups can do. Congrats to them.

Soo, It's my second post yaaaay! XD I'm sorry I haven't uploaded videos for a while but I was busy the first week of July with Amaitsuki's training camp and after I got lazy because I danced too much in the camp XD And now I'm busy with my last year of Highschool which started this september T_T But, I'll try to upload a video before Player One in Macôn (Near Lyon on the 28-29 september) ^_^ Plus, I have plans with my kouhai at school to do covers together :D I'm so happy because I have made her like japanese culture and Jpop! Now I'm not so lonely in school :D (because I was like one of the very very very very very few people who liked japanese culture and who were geeks XD) And plus she's a very good dancer so she said that she was going to help me improve my dancing skills by teaching me basics of dance :D Furthermore, I'm going to take singing classes so I will be able to sing :D (because I can't sing in tune XD I'm so out tune that Momo (AT's leader) doesn't give me solo lines XD but I'm okay with it because I know I will not be able to sing them well ^_^) and so maybe one day I'll do a singing cover XD Today, AT uploaded the first video for the event la Parisienne (which is a women-only marathon to fight and prevent breast cancer) and it was upup girls (kari)'s chopper chopper! I was sooo frustrated because I couldn't participate T_T Everyone was sooo good! I'm just so happy to see them dancing :D They improved coordination a lot! ^_^ My generation mate Kurimu (light green) have improved a lot in her dancing! I'm so happy T^T Because we're generation mate and because we've known each other for a long time (she's my childhood/bestfriend older sister) I'm happy to see that she improved! Everyone was sooo cute! And Painapuru (orange) was just sooo cool! (Aaaah Pai-samaaaa T^T) I'm very proud of them!
