Yohan walks into work at 1 like he always does on Thursdays. Walking into the break room, he sees Hangyul eating lunch and sits with him. Hangyul looks like he has something to say but his mouth is still stuffed. “Swallow first, then talk.” Minhee says. 

Yohan looks confused at Minhee’s presence. “Aren’t you supposed to be at school?” 

“...It’s vacation, dude.” Minhee deadpans. 

Yohan nervously chuckles, “Right, that’s a thing, oops.” 

Minhee snorts, “Didn’t you only graduate like 2 years ago?“ 

Yohan doesn’t get to answer because Hangyul’s finally finished chewing and swallowing his food. “Your crush is in the juice aisle right now.” He says with a smirk before stuffing his mouth full again. 

Yohan’s eyes widen as he starts sputtering. “What is she doing here already?! She’s not supposed to come in for another 3 hours!” 

Hangyul smiles victoriously at Yohan’s slip up. Usually Yohan is very quick to correct Hangyul whenever he calls you his crush, but Yohan is much more concerned about the fact that you were here so early. 

Seungyoun rounds the corner into the break room. “Yohan, the girl you’re crushing on is in the juice aisle and her kid is crying, please get out there before other customers start complaining about the ruckus.” He says as he pulls a random box of orange juice from the fridge. “Oh, and ask her out already, we’re all tired of you moping around all week except on Thursdays.” 

Yohan turns to his the older man to protest, but his words are caught in his throat. “WAIT NO DON’T OPEN THAT!” Yohan immediately shoots up and grabs the carton before he can open it. 

Seungyoun doesn’t know whether to be offended that Yohan ripped the orange juice out of his hands like that, or laugh at how he’s cradling the carton to his chest like a baby. He opts for simply shaking his head. “Just get out there, will you?” 

Yohan curtly nods. He spins on his heels and makes a beeline for the juice aisle. 

Finally on the floor, Yohan’s no longer sure of his actions. He takes a few deep breaths to calm himself. There’s no way back now, and his coworkers are probably all watching him on the CCTV right now.

Yohan rounds the corner into the juice aisle to find you bouncing your daughter in your arms, trying to calm her down.

“How about his one? No? This one then? Also not?” You point at a bunch of random boxes of orange juice, in hopes of making your 2-year-old stop crying.

But your little girl wasn’t having it, now full on sobbing. This catches the eye of the 2 other customers in the juice aisle. Yohan can practically hear Seungyoun telling him to hurry it up from the break room. Taking one more deep breath, he finally steps forward.

“Uh, excuse me, Y/N? Hi,” he starts, “We were going to run out and I’ve noticed you two come in every Thursday for it…so I put a carton in the back cooler for you. Here.” He holds the carton out for you to grab. 

Your eyes widen. “Oh! Oh my god, thank you so much. You’re a lifesaver! She’s been super fussy all day because we ran out sooner than expected.” 

Yohan smiles kindly in response. “It’s no problem at all!” He holds up the carton so your daughter can see it. “Hi Minju, look what I have here!” 

Minju’s eyes fall on the carton and she immediately stops crying. You and Yohan both laugh as you watch her make grabby hands at the big carton. Yohan hands it to you, so it doesn’t fall and explode all over the floor.

“Wow, you must be a miracle worker.” You giggle.

“She must just really love her OJ.” Yohan’s cheeks heat up and he prays you can’t tell.

You can. And Seungyoun, Hangyul and Minhee can probably, too.

“So... You’ve noticed us coming in every Thursday, hm?” You tease.

“Okay, that might’ve been an understatement.” He rubs the back of his neck.

“I sure hope so. Your coworkers probably think I’m an idiot for constantly needing to be shown where the juice aisle is.” You chuckle

He nervously laughs, “Hah, whaaat, of course they don’t.”

You just playfully roll your eyes, thinking back to a random Tuesday not too long ago. 

You’d bumped into Hangyul and he’d smugly asked you if you needed help finding the juice aisle. You’d just given him a confused look in return, to which Hangyul simply said ‘Yohan’. Your face had morphed into a look of surprise, realization and embarrassment. Hangyul quickly told you Yohan liked you back. To which his eyes widened and he basically begged you not to tell Yohan he told you that.

Snapping back to reality, you finally decided you’d waited long enough, “I was thinking, maybe you’d like to come over for dinner sometime?” You carefully ask.

Yohan’s cheeks got even redder than they already were. “Like, as a date..?”  

You nod. “And I’m sure Minju would like it if you came, too.” You softly add.

“Yes!” He says rather excited, “I-I mean, I’d like that.” 

You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding as you break out into a smile. “Great! And I guess this is the part where I ask for your number?” You trail off.

“Y-yeah,” he takes you phone to enter his number, “Text me whenever.” 

“Alright! Thank you again for this,” you say gesturing towards the orange juice, “I’ll see you around Yohan.” 

“Yeah, see you around.” Yohan says back almost dreamily. “Oh, bye Minju!” He waves at you both as he walks backwards the same way he came. You and Minju both giggle as you watch him apologize profusely to a customer for bumping into their cart. 

Bonus: 

“HA! I told you she’d ask him out first,” Hangyul laughs, “Pay up boss!” 

Seungyoun begrudgingly slaps a 10,000 won bill in Hangyul’s hand.
