11/11- (CastielxAlyss Oneshot)
Castiel scowled as he walked the halls toward his girlfriendâs locker. It was 11/11, whatever the heck that meant to Alyss, but apparently Alexy, Rosa, and Leigh were talking about having to give Alyss some stupid box of sweets on this specific day.
Yesterday he had somehow found himself being dragged around town by Alexy and this of course meant having to drop by the clothing shop. As he and Alexy, mainly Alexy, looked at the new stuff, they had taken note of Leigh and Rosalya in the corner of the store. Rosalya seemed to be scolding Leigh as if he were as forgetful as Lysander.
«I canât drop by to help you tonight so just make sure to remember that you need to buy your own to gift to Alyss. You of all people should know how much this means to her!»
«I promise I wonât forget. How could I? Sheâs literally been glowing in excitement for this all week!»
Castiel furrowed his brows a bit as Alexy ran and joined in on the conversation. «Leigh! This is serious! This is her first time celebrating this without VikâŠÂ»
The three then froze when they had noticed Castiel. Seriously, what was with these three? A serious pain in the ass trio. They had known from the very beginning that Alyss had a boyfriend and yet allowed Castiel to make such a fool of himself by being so blatantly in love it with her. He was so not in the mood to go toward whatever tomorrow was without any damn warning whatsoever. «Spill, whatâs tomorrow?» He gave a sigh.
«Itâd be too long to explain.» Rosa shook her head and walked off. What the hell?
«You could always just go on the internet and Google-» Leighâs statement appeared surprisingly sarcastic, and so Castiel turned to Alexy.
«Ok, Castiel. Iâm completely serious here, you have to just go to the grocery store and pick up these chocolate-covered snacks called Pâ»
âPocky, right??â Castiel couldnât believe he had to drop by the store to pick up a $2 box of chocolate biscuits. «Why the hell did I even do this?!» For all he knew, today could have just been a thing she and her ex did and for that reason, he shouldnât have given a single fuck. As he neared the staircase, he saw that even Li was giving her a box like it was Valentineâs Day for Alyss. He waited a bit for the girls to finish before approaching.
«Hey⊠Todayâs a special and so I got you thisâŠÂ» Why was he sounding so meek, he seriously had no clue what he was even doing this for, but deep down he was sure that if things went well right now, it would be for better.
«Wow! How did you know?!?! I never expected you to give me⊠ wait, this is Pocky!?!» By the tone of Alyssâ voice, it definitely left Castiel wondering if he had fucked up somewhere.
«R-Right? Iâm supposed to get you theseâ forâŠ??» Really, he had no clue. «Wait, did I get something wrong?» He ruffled his hair, actually getting flustered. âAlexy told me to pick up some red-boxed chocolate thing that started with a P or whatever so I got thisâ»
«Oh! Itâs Pepero! He meant Pepero. This is Pocky~!»
«Whatâs the difference?» Castiel hadnât even heard of the thing.
«Itâs essentially the same product but theyâre different becauseâ you know what, justâ just do me a favor and close your eyes!» She demanded as she began to open up the box. He gave her a skeptical look. «Come on! Just do it, please!» She gave that cute pout of hers and he couldnât help but decide to play along. «And youâre not allowed to open your eyes⊠Ah~» She stuck one of the pocky sticks into his mouth and he could feel the chocolate about to melt. «Ok, just hold still!»
Castiel started to feel the biscuit break wanted to just question what the heck was going on, but wanted his question answered. The crunching ceased to an end and he felt Alyss kissing him on the lips. He was about to take her in his arms, but she pulled away. «Oops, I lost!» She laughed. «Itâs Pepero day, I guess you could say itâs kinda like an unofficial holiday where you give this stuff to your loved ones. I used to celebrate it back in Paris between my family and friends, but I guess word got out that I really like this.»
Castiel groaned slightly. «Whatâs with your friends never wanting to tell things to me straight with you! Rosa didnât wanna say a word and Alexy gave me such vague instructions!»
«Really? Oh Castiel! Iâm so sorry! Seems like this thing caused you lots of trouble! I mean you couldâve just Googled it!»
Castiel just narrowed his eyes that at that statement; Leigh wasnât fucking kidding. «Are you serious?»
«Yup! Oh, but thatâs okay because with this we can play the Pocky game!! Youâll probably love playing since youâll get to tease me the whole time!» Alyss cheered.
Castiel just shook his head and laughed. «Youâre just going to keep losing on purpose so that you can kiss me!»
«Yup!! Good thing you bought such big box, we can play all day!»
 I always lose track of Pepero day! Apparently I think that writing a oneshot would take less time than drawing a picture, turns out I was right, but hereâs last yearâs 11/11 doodle. xD
It was 2AM when I wrote this. Look at me pretending to me active.

In fact I blame Jaeta-mun for a lot of things.
I also decided to write this with French quotation marksâ because I make poor decisions at 3 in the morning. This hasnât been proofread and honestly I was in the cray state of mind while writing this and so I await when I see this again tomorrow and laugh and die of secondhand embarassment. No shakes were given~ and Alyssâ true end game is with Castiel so he deserves his shot at playing the Pocky Game with her!
Tbh, I feel like the whole thing is just a ploy to troll Castiel, set up by Alexy, Rosa, and not really Leigh who Castiel wouldnât take serious anyway. I wonder if while at the store, Castiel texted Lysander to go and ask Leigh what to get in case Alexy was just joking around, and Lysander forgot in an instant and said Pocky. HahahaâŠ
Idk man, I just imagined Alexy just like giving the couple a thumbs up, Castiel thinking it was just a well played joke of his, when in reality, Alyss had planned this all along! She wanted to play the pocky game!
I used to play this all the time at cons back in the day as in like years and years ago back when I was in high school, lol. It totally fell out of being a thing, but I tried it again with my boyfriend and ohohoho~ itâs much much better with your boyfriend. I was like >///3////<
