are you ever afraid to wake up bc you don’t want to face another day but you tell yourself you are worth it it’s okay to wake up or are you normal?

The sadness is kinda hitting hard today. Nothing major happened, just feeling sad out of nowhere. Which, is not unusual...Just a puddle of inadequacy, I feel like I don't meet the expectations that people have of me. Whether it be: I'm not interesting enough, funny enough, sweet enough, etc. I typically don't take people's opinion of me to heart, but being so introverted makes me think what people would think if I weren't such a shadow.

I never realized how toxic social media could be, I honestly was so oblivious to it. I was always able to exclude any negative energy by simply deleting the individual ruining the zen of my timeline. For me to go as far as deactivating over one individual, is very unlike me. But, I am now able to stand back and have the much needed break I didn't know I desired. I feel like the younger generation uses social media to reassure themselves about their relationships. Social media is not a gage of friendship, it does not confirm nor deny real life relationship dynamics. If you place all of your insecurity into social media, this is what you're left with; what did you think would happen if you kept pushing me over my limit? Childlike mentality at the age you are at now, is concerning, however it is your problem. My journey to deleting my social media has begun.
