Here, I knolled a selection of my best types ketches on my cherry wood bar counter, which I think looks quite smart. I coloured the final type sketch, which ended up giving a nice accent to the knoll. I decided to retrace with a pen the letters that were assigned in graphite, just to make it more aesthetically pleasing!

This week I decided to knoll my boyfriend’s rock collection. I thought it would be challenging considering that they’re all rocks, but each have their own unique shape and colour. I tried to consider balance by grouping shapes and colours together in symmetrical lines. The oddest shapes went on the top and sides, while the more square-like shapes went in the middle. The middle rocks also progress in tone from light to dark.

I tried to play with simplicity and contrast by using a white background and black markers. 

I thought the chalk was cool because it is very colourful and structured. I  focused on colour for this knoll, I thought it was cool to not have the colour in patterns. 

I decided to play with colour by using a lack thereof. I chose all white items and used a black background for contrast. 

I chose to knoll all the red fruits and veggies in my fridge, which made me very hungry. I love the monotone quality of this picture, I find it satisfying. I also like its simplicity - one colour, one theme.
