I am sitting on my boat waiting. What is it I’m waiting for you ask? Well we’re off of the coast of this island of these people called Lotos Eaters. I’ve heard of stories of these people and their tricks so I know not to go unless I know for sure what’s on that island. So, I am currently waiting for the one runner I sent out and also the two pickers that went with him. I chose these men because the runner was the fastest man on the ship and I need speed to deliver me as much information with the little time we have on this island. I picked the two pickers because these two men were the smartest to me and I feel like they shouldn’t fall for the trap of the Lotos. On the other hand, though, I feel as if they are kept captive mentally due to the taste of the Lotos. I wonder what is happening with these men. The men not coming back yet could be a bad thing since they haven’t returned yet but it could also be a good sign telling me not to go. Overall I have a great feeling of relief because this is telling that I should not go onto this island of the Lotos eaters.
