#always100

Hey everyone, realistcollegestudent here. I’ve always wanted to run a studyblr but have always felt like my posts could never amount to all of these other blogs I see out here on Tumblr. I don’t have the perfect background, handwriting, supplies, or camera. I’m not even the perfect student. I let the fear of not being the best hold me back from even trying. In the past, I have reblogged other people’s posts but I really wanted to make my own content. So here I am giving it a try. It's going to be rough for a while as I learn about truly running a studyblr but, I will improve. Here’s a little about me but you’ll definitely learn more along the way.

What is your name?

What do you study? I am currently studying nursing but I am unsure if I’m going to continue studying this major or not. 

What is your current class standing?

 Freshman, go class of ‘22!

What do you like to do? 

I really enjoy all of the arts and being creative in any way. I especially love singing, acting, writing, and photography. I haven’t had the outlet to do a lot of these things like I did in high school so I hope that this studyblr can be an outlet for all of my creative energy.

Why are you going to post?

 Well, the whole reason that I had the gumption to finally create original content is that I didn’t have the ideal first semester of college. If I’m being honest it was kind of a shitshow. It wasn’t like anything I had expected or could have ever anticipated. To everyone else in my life I appeared to be surviving and to most, I even looked like I was thriving. But under all of that “perfect” exterior, I was dying. I was and am currently having the “what is my purpose?” crisis that most people take care of in high school. Hence the “I am currently studying” statement because before the end of the semester it could very well change. I had no one in my life keep it real about college and the true struggles of being a college student so here I am hoping to be that for someone else. I’m not going to be posting anything with the intention of scaring people but with the intention to share my story so you know you’re not alone and know that its okay to not be perfect.

What are you going to post?

 Well, the plan is to post what life is REALLY like as a college student. I want to post about what’s going on in my life and how I’m dealing with it. I also want to bring you along for a day in the life every once in a while. I do plan on keeping up with studyblr culture and posting my notes but not just ones that are aesthetically pleasing. I do want to help y’all out to so I will continue to reblog things that I find helpful. I will be posting things that don’t have to do with school sometimes. I like variety so we’ll see what I come up with but, like I said I’m going to keep it real so no matter what I actually post, know that whatever it is will be 100% me.
