okay so one very important thing to know is that Lily was raised as a commoner (mostly small storefront type of thing), but imo Heart commoners have it a lot easier due to the difference in magic system
she also has a really idolized view of Lolo, considering that she didn’t see the queen as a person, just that the people knew her as kind and benevolent
and she remembers one time when she was young and got the chance to see Lolopechka when she was in the city and she still considers that to be how royalty must look
to be smiling and clearly in love with their country
even when Lily herself has to know that Noelle and Nozel might actually die if she doesnt go with the healers into Heart, she still believes in Lolo as the queen
so Lolo is going to go through it when she meets Lily for the first time in person
because this was a citizen who’s family were slaughtered because of her incompetence and Lily is still looking at her like she’s the best ruler she could dream of
how could this woman forgive her for failing her like that? how could she look at her and think that she was in any way a capable ruler?
i’m having it so that Noelle has been aware of Solid finally asking Lily out and she offhandedly mentions it to the group which sparks many many questions
due to Solid being himself and also wait isn’t that doctor from Heart? so Lolo is getting information secondhand from Noelle and is very confused about Lily being cool with Solid until she meets the lady
and then is like “oh she can forgive all of my mistakes? i still dont get why but i understand her mentality now”
