Interesting footnote in a book I happen to be reading about Princess Marina. Gives a little insight into Bertie’s thoughts and observations on parenting.

WHAT ENTERS THE ROOM BEFORE YOU? [ DEAN WINCHESTER VERSION]
THE EXPECTATIONS
You arrive already reading the room. Who needs reassurance. Who expects competence. Who is quietly hoping you’ll fill a gap they won’t name. You adapt instinctively, almost reflexively - sliding into what’s required before anyone asks. People feel understood by you. Seen. Held. Sometimes too quickly. They mistake your attunement for availability, your flexibility for obligation. The work here is remembering that you are allowed to enter without performing. That your presence does not have to be useful to be valid.
Colours: Soft beige, pale blue, overcast light
Scene: Adjusting yourself mid-conversation, then pausing, wondering when you last checked in with what you wanted?

to swallow to divide a 4am car ride to nowhere was all too meaningless to say I couldn't try I'd be lying, but pride was never my strongpoint, and everything now coming together once almost always cried to see my forgiveness that was my biggest weakness was always understanding but never seeing the point in all of this

On Airports (and why I love them) Pt. 1
For many people that I know, flying or having to use the airport to travel is one of their least favorite segments of the journey. Airports are a place full of goodbyes, tears, and caffeine deprived travelers. You're stuck with loud tourists, crying babies and frustrated TSA workers just trying to make an honest living. You have to take off your shoes for god's sake.Â
But despite all these flaws: I love the airport (look forward to it even)
