Scopes Collide presents: INFERNO
A new release that shows growth and variety, and a willingness to stay creative.
Scopes Collide has released INFERNO, a mixtape that leans into contrast and motion rather than fixed identity. Working within an independent alternative lane, the project pulls from a wide set of influences, shaping a sound that shifts between restraint and release without settling too long in either mode.
Across INFERNO, Scopes Collide favors texture and pacing, moving between groove-driven rhythms and textural elements in a very seamless way. This creates a sense of progression throughout the album, which is built on Scopes Collide’s ability to embrace a kaleidoscopic range of influences. After all, it’s even instilled in the band’s name! The moniker suggests how the musicians in the project want their different backgrounds to converge into something that’s raw, expressive and one-of-a-kind. INFERNO does not aim for cohesion in the traditional sense. Its strength lies in its willingness to remain open, to let different ideas coexist without forcing a single narrative. That approach reflects Scopes Collide’s broader ethos, one that values evolution over perfection.
