Couldn’t let the solstice slide by without making a #wetcyan and #solarfast print! Didn’t get it out until the afternoon, but of course there’s plenty of daylight left. These are all garden plants: ligularia, celandine poppy, brunnera, and Chinese ginger. The print from yesterday’s deer-approved exposure, before rinsing. White mulberry leaves on cotton sateen, with #wetcyan and #solarfast About 20 hours exposure, a lot of it cloudy (and nighttime) so it has a different feel from ones done in bright sun. Quaker Town house in Denton. It's currently being historically restored to it's previous condition before it was moved to this area. Quaker Town was the segregated area of Denton where black workers lived. The area was bulldozed to make way for a park where wealthy whites could play and so that commuters didn't have to walk through a black neighborhood. Can you believe local companies donated a million dollars to fix up this old memorial to segregation? What a waste.
