Underworld Universe:

Just what it says on the tin, a perfectly canon Underworld film universe, save that Viktor survives beyond Underworld 1. Lycans, Vampires and Immortals are the only non-humans, and more-or-less non supernatural. The Covens extend over the entire world. All character relationships follow the canon.

Here, the underworld Vampires and Lycans are only one of several strains of Supernaturals, and their influence is confined to Hungary, which is their territory.

He didn't know what possessed him to take a walk this late at night, especially when it was the night of the full moon, when lycans were at their strongest. He was edgy and extremely tense because of this. The slightest rustle of trees caused him to jump and look around. He knew the park was empty, most people at home, but he couldn't sit still with the moon shining above. He needed the fresh air, and time to get out.
