They met at the church where their fathers were elders. Their mothers describe their sound as āinvasiveā, though they themselves describe it as āSwim-Rockā, not only because the term sounds attractively idiosyncratic but also because a couple of the songs sound like they could be played at a public swimming pool.
Recently formed as 'I Saw Esau' they have previously released material on Ear Candy Records and Deep Life Records.
As a solo artist Jared has also been signed to Sam Bush Management.
Eagerly awaited debut EP slated for release in Summer 2012.Ā
(12:45pm) DAMN JAMMAGE http://www.myspace.com/damnjammage Lead by the bitter sweet sound of bone-shattering and heart-melting baritone Danny Rapscallion and the contrasting angelic tones of vocalist and pianist Jasmine Daniels, this phenomenally talented songwriting duo have brought together an extraordinary team of musicians to form an unstoppably combative outfit who guide their audiences through the darkened alleyways of Blues, Folk, Rockabilly, Doo-wop and classic Rock ānā Roll nodding at turns to Mark Lanegan, Ry Cooder, Tindersticks, Wanda Jackson, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave and The Pogues.
The Damn Jammage's debut gig was a sold out show at sorely missed London music mecca The Flowerpot in 2010
Sold out shows at Ronnie Scotts, Proud Camden and The Barfly and hugely supported performances at The Camden Crawl and The Secret Garden Party.
