So while thinking about Storm's Bio Redux, i do have something new for Carri. A new place where she was born, and it's a made up location. --- "In the early 1300's, there was a hidden island in the Chinese Seas that was untouched by man for the most part, it was home to luscious waters, beautiful trees and flora, it was paradise.  But all things cannot remain hidden for eternity. In 1389, a small army from the Ming Dynasty was sailing along their trade routes when they got lost during a freak storm and somehow ended up on the island. Upon exploration, the small army found the pristine beauty of the island to be awe inspiring at first, but later they would have an idea. Taking some Opium seeds, the small army began to plant Opium flowers to be used to create the drug for later on.  From there, another ship sent by the Ming Dynasty and rescue the shipwrecked soldiers. They returned to China and informed the Emperor of their achievements and not only were they celebrated for their victory, but they had the honor to name the island "Yǐncáng de huādǎo." Or "Hidden Flower Island." For nearly a century, the Ming Dynasty had control of the island, growing their Opium and using it to create drugs, it was a lucrative business opportunity for them, making lots of money.  However, their practices would soon dissolve under British rule. In 1450, King Henry VI sent a trade ship to head towards China when they somehow ended up losing the compass in Chinese waters due to what some claimed as an argument about... "King Henry's sanity." They ended up landing on the island and found the Ming Dynasty harvesting Opium, rather than trying to make peace with the Chinese Dynasty, they declared a battle with them since they believed it was "A desecration of our Lord and Saviour's majestic gifts." Despite being outnumbered at least 2-to-1, the English traders drove out the harvesters with ease. However, this would set off what would be later be called as the Magnolian War. For 15 long years, the English and the Chinese were battling for control over the island, claiming at least 600 souls, 300 from the English side, 300 from the Chinese side. Eventually, England would claim victory for possession of the island, after slaying 2 of the Ming Dynasty's generals, and so they won, with King Edward the IV declaring the new island to be christened "Magnolia." Rather than keep the island all natural, the king ordered the builders of England to build a small town on the island, claiming: "Magnolia shalt be a hidden paradise, for noblemen and women such as Parliament, and many of the royal houses." The next 30 years oversaw full construction of Magnolia, with a bakery, library, blacksmith and bar, along with many good looking homes, it was to be a place where the pure would live in peace, away from the turmoils of government and war. And it remained that way for centuries, even the Redwake family moved there during the 1600's to give birth to Carri, where she learned how to swim, how use a bow and other many things. However, Magnolia's end came after 6 centuries of peace and tranquility. In 2004, a freak tsunami came to the island and flooded and destroyed the town on the island, in a tragic fate, the people refused to leave their paradise and ended up paying the price with their lives. Now a site filled with ruins, it's home to some beautiful diving spots and a reminder that peace is never eternal...
