i just realized i haven't been this conscious as myself longer than i thought

a. full/complete introject

an introject that as far as we know is practically entirely made from the source and has a "complete" identity. often behaves similar to other complete alters. may only front during specific circumstances, or whenever the hell they want if allowed. Example: fictive introject EP goes by source's name, has pretty much identical self image to source (may have slight modifications like wearing a hoodie, but typically any deviation is frowned upon), has mannerisms mirroring source, and has similar fears (and sometimes interests) to source.

b. partially complete introject

introject made from source, but with an incomplete identity. may not fully front, only communicate using a voice or mouth, (we call these yappers), have no body image or representation except for using existing data. (e.g. alter uses "clips" from source, whether that may be fictional or factual. some may get very good at replicating their source's voice and make others envious) or only front with other alters as they lack the ability to fully exist without anyone else or only when needed Example: a factive fragment introject that mainly only fronts when we need a comic relief, and spouts nonsense in a very source-accurate voice. lacks pretty much everything else.

c. semi-introjects

introjects in which a existing fragment takes introjected material to "complete" their identity. these introjects seem to be more involuntarily "chosen" as the taken material often corresponds to their already existing data. characteristics of such alters involve not having the name of the source, not fully identifying as their source (factive or fictive) and develop or mature overtime to become a more distinct individual, and identify with other non-introjected alters of a similar function or vibe (i don't know how else to explain it) Example: a fragment from a gremlin subsystem floating in space eats gremlin material to fully gremlinize lmao d. developed introject

a flip-flopped variant of semi-introjects in which a partial or complete introject either

finds a fragmented split or similar material and fuses

develops psychologically to the point where they deviate. (or both) Example: a factive introject that formed 6 years ago overtime developed into a separate person from the source, but may still recognize their behavioral pattern similarities if still interacting with said individual.

i dont know what to type here:

many introjects most often front only when triggered, but may front despite no clear reason.

some introjects may gravitate toward a subsystem that's similar to them, or be created within that subsystem. others are absolute rebellious devas though. -Skyler <B> (also this has kinda gotten me to realize i might be a developed partial factive from someone at school lmao) (also also a majority of our introjects are feminine for some reason. a theory is an attempt to override the overwhelming numbers of non-cis ppl but atp stop trying :/. this is coming from a tomboy demigirl lion/skunk creature in a subsystem that's full of men and extremely repressed bc yeah <3 GENDER. also also also i like to dub Blue the insecurity subsystem bc some ppl in here are WILD. …I'm looking at you Rue. [he hates himself though so I'll shut up]) P.s. I added this later at like 4am and the authors aren't here anymore except for Aspen? a little bit because they are connected to a split off of Rue which grants me access to their neural pathways) and also they aint gonna list the introjects bc they think they're cringe or embarrassing but i think thats not true and they're cool. my EA is like 13 or 14 or some $#!+ lolzers SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE * feral skunk noises *

Disclaimer: not every label here perfectly describes introjects in our system. this is not an exhaustive list??? (or is it?) this was just thrown together at 1am in the morning.

also pink has a factive introject of someone from school from like 2nd grade ×3

i remember that when we were like 10 we would "talk to myself" for hours and hours through the mouth and with the ears and sometimes our parents would walk into our room a little concerned like "who ya talking to?" and we'd be like "myself" and then they would close the door and then we would get upset because most of the time the flow would stop upon them entering i just thought this was really interesting also it's a vivid sort of factual memory with bit of episodic data attached, which to me at least indicates there was low amnesia and/or high communication during those periods of time. -Aspen & Janan & a mysterious pink subsystem member providing the memory i think
