i'm falling in love with starfield,,,,,,,,,,,,,,now that it's actually fucking playable

like dont get me wrong fuck bethesda for releasing it in the state they did. it's deeply, deeply unfinished.

starfield is a game where sometimes opening a menu or pausing the game tanks my performance afterwards forever and i have to restart the entire game.

let me repeat that actually

starfield is a game where, at any point, there's a ~20% chance that after opening my inventory i will need to restart the game

but the people that actually y'know, made the game, did put a lot of time and effort and creativity in a lot of the game and it shows! there are a bunch of things here that honestly rule. i found myself wanting to talk to NPCs to learn more about the world. and sometimes NPCs actually remember dialogue choices you made??? like it's not groundbreaking but i really didnt expect starfield to do that
