Gods, I almost forgot I headcanoned Scaramantula as Pete Whites dad. Why? Because both are obsessed with the "us freaks gotta stick together". And White seemed way too salty over being called a villain if memory serves right.
Plus, it would be fun if White and Rusty grew up on opposite sides of the protag/antag thing and ended up as friends. Maybe Rusty turned White "good guy" somehow?
So Danny Phantom is a decently well known vigilante in the DP universe, at least in Amity Park.
Danny is bored because it's been like 2 days with no ghost attacks. He remembers Tucker once telling him that he thinks Danny would like AO3 (take that with the tone you will) so with nothing else to do he decides why not.

Then, out of boredom, he decides to try searching for 'Danny Phantom'
