OMG I MISS ALPHA!GRAY SM!!!!

Because Y/N is human, grayson is super strict with her when they’re around the pack. He of course knows that no one in his pack would do anything to Y/N, and vice versa. But they all live in a pretty remote place during the summer - so it’s basically an invitation for rogue wolves to try and stake their claim at the pack and the alpha. It happens more times then grayson and ethan would like, but they always get it under control quickly and calmly. With Y/N staying with the pack during the summer (because grayson can’t be without her) grayson is more strict. Y/N gets it, of course she does. She gets grayson wanting her to be safe.

She does not get why she’s locked up in their room half the time. She can’t go out to the river and swim with all the the other members, she can’t look after the pups or help the pack doctors. She’s apparently not allowed to do anything with grayson supervising. She’s had enough and needs to some fresh air.

“Please? I’ll be super safe!” Y/N pouted, she was currently begging grayson to allow her to explore some of the woods around the camp. Grayson of course said no straight away. There hasn’t been a rogue wolf in weeks - but grayson is not taking any chances, the minute those wolves smell Y/N she’s done for. And although he’s trained her in combat, she’s definitely not strong enough to fight off those wolves even if they were injured.

“Baby, i’m sorry but i’m just not letting you go out there” Grayson said placing his hands on her hips. Y/N pouted again, her eyes filling up with tears. Graysons heart broke and he tried to look away, but the thought of her crying because of him made him hate himself a little. He sighed and kissed her forehead before giving in.

“Fine. You can go” Grayson said and Y/N turned off those tears quicker then they came on. Grayson raised his eyebrow but chose to ignore it.

“You have ten minutes and a guard will stand outside of the perimeter you’re in” Grayson stated and Y/N nodded squealing pecking grayson’s lips before getting her shoes from the end of the bed.

“See you later!” Y/N called out running down the stairs of the pack home. The guard, who she learned was named, Malakai, guided her through the bushes and onto the path of the woods. It was so beautiful out here, Y/N just wanted to enjoy it. She wished they lived here all year round, there’s beautiful scenery and everyone is always so happy and lively. Their walk was short and quiet, the guard only talking when Y/N spoke to him.

Y/N started walking foward into the woods, the guard standing post beside a large tree. “Don’t go far” He ordered and Y/N nodded with a smirk. She just wanted to explore a little. She hadn’t been out in so long. Soon enough, ten minutes turned into twenty and twenty turned into thirty. The guard had been looking for her the minute his timer went off and she had not arrived back. Y/N was sitting by a rock watching a deer and it’s baby eat. They looked so peaceful and she just couldn’t look away. She didn’t mean to lose track of time, nature just fascinated her. All the things she saw today, she couldn’t wait to tell grayson all about it. Even though he’s probably seen a lot more beautiful things than her.

“Y/N!” A voice called out, they called it out again and again but Y/N was so entranced by the beauty of the two animals she didn’t hear it. Grayson was going out of his mind, malakai had mind linked him and ethan to let them know Y/N hadn’t returned and he was going into the woods to search for her. Grayson nearly lost his shit, well actually he did. He threw a cup at the way and then immediately shifted into his wolf form running into the woods. Ethan and a few other members of the pack went down the river and other parts of the woods.

“Y/N?” Grayson called out, now out of his wolf form. God, she looked so happy. But he didn’t even notice because he stalked over to her quickly scaring away the two deers. He grabbed Y/N by the arm making her gasp. He had never done that before - not in a harsh way. Y/N couldn’t of been gone for that long, right? She didn’t mean to be so long.

“Grayson” She said as he pulled her along out of the woods. Members of the pack were looking at Y/N, some relieved and other still worried. Grayson looked like he was about to throw her in the dungeons for the night. Y/N had never seen grayson this angry before. Of course they’ve gotten into little fights, but it was usually Y/N that got angry and yelled. Grayson was always the composed one when it came to arguments.

“Grayson, please i’m sorry” Y/N said, but he continued on into their home and up the stairs not saying a word but still dragging Y/N along upstairs to their room. Y/N sighed, knowing she wouldn’t win this argument so she stayed quiet. Once they were in the room, Y/N sat down on their bed as Grayson paced back and forth in front of her. She didn’t exactly know what to do. So she apologised again.

“I’m really sorry-“

She was cut off by a laugh from grayson. He stood in front of her and shook his head.

“Sorry? You were gone for nearly an hour! You scared me” Grayson yelled, Y/N jumped at his tone he noticed and sighed sitting down beside her.

“I know you’re sorry. But you can’t do things like that” he said and Y/N nodded.

“You’re right. I’m sorry and i won’t wonder off.” she said and pecked his lips.

i feel like they would’ve met through friends - so Y/N kind of already knows about the werewolf stuff. She’s just not as educated on it because humans just aren’t taught that stuff. But her parents didnt want her ending up with a werewolf - they were strict, they were very laid back parents, but this rule really stuck. But Y/N went against their rules anyways.

Grayson was nervous.

He had never been on a blind date before and he had never been with a human either. He was waiting for a mate, but it just seemed like they weren’t there. He felt like the moon goddess just decided that there would be no mate for him. Usually, mates are found at age 18. After that age, youre usually frowned upon. But because he’s the alpha, they don’t talk shit. So, with that, graysons just trying to find someone.

Someone’s that’s willing to fuck, go out for dinner once or twice and then that’s it. Someone to basically fill up his time.

Y/N walked in, looking as beautiful as ever and graysons heart stopped. He was close to turning when he saw her. Her short red dress, her black dirty converse, the weird amount of bracelets on her wrist.

you had been feeling off for a while. grayson and the pack had noticed it too. you would be up to all hours of the morning throwing up, and then be absolutely fine after a little nap. you were either eating a whole feast or barley eating at all. you had weird cravings and no one would say it but you knew you had gained some pounds - which you weren’t opposed to, it usually took you months to gain this much weight.

you were 99 percent sure you knew what was happening, and you couldn’t of been more thrilled, considering you and grayson have sex every other day it was bound to happen.

you were just surprised when grayson hadn’t caught on that there wasn’t one heartbeat anymore.

you arrived at the pack doctor early on a sunday morning - knowing grayson would be dead to the world as he trained all day on saturday with the pack pups. you were nervous, but you were definitely ready. you felt old and mature enough to raise a little pup. you were financially stable, had a great boyfriend and the best support system. you knew a lot of people who didn’t have that when they were pregnant, so you knew you and the pup were very lucky.

“usually in the human “world” you can just get some bloods to be sure, but because the pups grow so fast we have to do an ultrasound just to make sure.” angela the doctor said and you nodded still not fully understanding the werewolf world. “ok this will be a little cold” she said poring the gell all over your stomach. you winced and smiled a little “first time is always a weird one. you’ll get used to in no time” she winked placing her tool on your stomach moving it around your stomach.

she grinned “there they are!” angela laughed and your eyes widened “they?”

“twins! in your world you wouldn’t be able to see twins this early on, since they have a bit of the werewolf gene in them - or they could be full, you never know - they’re quite big” she paused moving it around “it’s easier to see genders and such. but it’s still a little early. come back in about 5 weeks, and i’ll see if i can see the sexes!” angela finished and you nodded feeling very overwhelmed.

tears streamed down your face as she handed you tissue. “it’s very normal to feel like this, do we need to go through the three options?” she asked concerned and you shook your head. “no, no, i’m just shocked that there’s two little pups in my tummy” you reply sobbing a little.

angela giggled bringing you into a hug.

“congrats mama!”

you arrived home a little later than you wanted to - you were craving mc donald’s.

grayson was still dead to the world so you took this as the time to plan out how you were going to tell your boyfriend about having two babies let alone one.

you sat down at the kitchen table with a piece of paper drawing a bun - yes you were going with the more cliche option. you drew two buns, the best of your ability, they actually looks pretty good. you pat yourself on the back for taking art in school.

you place the two buns in the oven and then make some breakfast for gray. you ended up making some pancakes (you made lots so you could share) bacon and a cup of ice tea for grayson.

your stomach was filled with nerves, good nerves. you knew grayson would be really happy. you know he’s going to be the worlds best dad.

“morning, baby” you whisper seeing grayson pull his head up from the soft white pillow. “hmm, smells good” he hummed sitting up revealing his topless body. you bit your lip.

“eat this quick, i have a surprise”

after eating the breakfast - with help from you of course. you both made your way day to the kitchen placing the dishes in the sink. “hey, i’m going to wash the dishes, can you get me the racks in the oven they need to be cleaned” you asked turning the water on.

he nodded opening the oven. it took him a minute to register what was going on.

“it’s a bun in the oven” grayson mumbled taking the two paper buns in his shaking his hands. “two?” he asked to himself. then everything started adding up. getting sick early in the morning, cravings, feeling tired. he let out a whimper.

“you’re pregnant?” he asked tears filling up in his eyes. you nodded walking over to him taking the two buns out of his hands “with two, beautiful and healthy pups” you say crying yourself.

“holy fuck!” he squealed kissing your face all over making you giggle.

“we’re going to parents”

“i told you to sit still.”

you huffed at grayson but did what he said. you’re currently 8 months pregnant and grayson has become very over protective — he won’t let any other pack member except for the pack doctor see you. he’s usually like this in his heat, but seeing you pregnant does stuff to him and he wants to make sure you’re protected. He’s a little overbearing on normal days, and if you asked him to paint your nails when you weren’t pregnant he would huff and puff, but now he was the one offering.

you’re not going to lie it’s nice to be pampered and looked after, but he’s gone a little mama hen on you. you think he’s preparing himself for the pup to come, he’s fully set on in it being a girl too. so he’s nesting, treating you like “the queen you are” he says.

“i’m trying to get this perfect, you want nice nails don’t you?” he asked and you just rolled your eyes placing a hand on your very large stomach. “yeah, daddy’s being bossy pup.”

“that’s alpha to you” grayson teased putting the nail polish aside a kissing your stomach and then your lips. “i’m only teasing.” you giggle kissing his jaw. “but you are the softest alpha i’ve ever met.”

“some guy was so rude to me this morning.” you said walking over to your vanity to start on your night time skin care routine. grayson dropped the book in his hand and sat up quickly. “and you didn’t think to tell me this earlier?” grayson exclaimed pinching the bridge of his nose. he could feel his patience thinning. he just needed a name and he’d be fine.

“baby, i didn’t tell you because i didn’t want you to stress” you explained picking up your moisturiser. “he just said some stupid things about me being a bad mate and shit.” you shrugged not really caring. grayson was literally red in the face with anger, his heart beating fast. he stood up from the bed and grabbed a shirt from the floor. you turned around and raised an eyebrow at your mate.

“and where do you think you’re going?”

“gray?” you asked as he stomped into your shared bedroom — members of the packs were looking over at him, but too scared to intervene. you and gray were a new relationship so you didn’t really know what he was like after meetings with other packs. the other members failed to tell you that bit. “i’d leave him alone if i were you.” ethan called out picking up his pup, your eyebrows furrowed with confusion but you ignore ethan and walked to the bedroom.

grayson was there on the edge of the bed his head in his hands, his muscles bulging through his white shirt. “are you ok?” you asked walking down to sit next to him. grayson looked up and sighed standing up.

“i’m going to leave. and then i’m going to come back. and if you’re not naked by the time i get back, you’re going to be in a lot of trouble.”

grayson walked out of the room leaving you in a shocked - horny - state. you immediately stripped down and sat on the bed your hair now in a high pointail. “good pup.” grayson said coming to stand at the top of the bed, his hand grabbing onto your hair.

The pack house was quiet this year for new years, only people living there were able to celebrate new years with the alpha and his family. Grayson and you were lucky that Ethan and his family and few friends lived with you guys, meaning you could celebrate in your own ways. A lot of the pack members hadn’t found their mate yet, so they’ve been quarantined together so they wouldn’t be alone — graysons idea, but you immediately agreed. You couldn’t stand to think about how horrible it must be being alone during this time. Everyone was set with a few roommates and hopefully people weren’t too lonely.

On the other hand, the alphas house was never empty. Always pups running around causing mayhem. And ethans wife, emerald, just had a set of twins. A boy and a girl, so that’s kept everyone on their toes for a few months.

You and grayson are expecting a little pup sometime soon, hopefully when the virus has calmed down a little. February seems like a good month to you guys, but you can never be too sure anymore.

Grayson and you thought it would be good to try for a pup during quarantine, seen as you both had time for it. you weren’t expecting it to happen so easily, but the pack doctor confirmed you had a healthy pup around june or july, pregnancy brain had you in bit sometimes you forgot your own name so it was one of the two months.

Grayson had gone and got some junk food and party hats for the night, and few of the other pack members had decided to put fireworks together for the pups of the pack, only if they stayed inside and behaved, that was made very clear.

“i don’t know if i’ll be able to stay up past ten” you groaned moving a cushion behind your back, making yourself more comfortable. grayson shook his head and leaned down to kiss your forehead.

“don’t worry about it, know pup is getting big” he said placing a hand on your stomach, you loved the early stages of pregnancy but now you just wanted the pup out of you. Obviously the pups are a lot bigger than human babies, so it put more of strain on you too, grayson was sure you got the best care even with covid around. He just wanted you to be comfortable and well.

“i’m gonna do it though”

grayson rolled his eyes and walked over to the kitchen, connected the living room. “you want some tea?” he asked opening the cupboard. “no thanks, baby. don’t wanna fall asleep just yet” you say pushing yourself up from the couch.

“fireworks should be soon, then we can head to bed?” grayson asked leaning against the island while the kettle boiled, for his own tea. He also knew the minute people heard the kettle there would be a good few people asking him to make tea.

you shook your head again “this is our last new years as just me and you. and i also wanna give you, your new years kiss” you say and grayson sighed, giving up. he knew he couldn’t convince you to head to bed even though it was obvious at how tired you were. You were stubborn, but that’s something grayson admired about you. you always stuck to your promises, even if it made you regret it the day after.

“well, let’s watch a movie and then we’ll see how tired you are after it” grayson said making his tea, and he was correct, ethan, emerald and their little tot mattia came down.

“tea?”

After making all the tea, ethan and his family sat and grayson and you sat down. you watched a movie and did some charades to pass the time. Having emerald and mattia there kept you on your toes, and very much awake.

“fireworks!” mattia squealed opening the door to the backgarden. He way too young to be staying up this late, but ethan really couldn’t say no he was super excited about spending christmas and new years with his uncle and aunt.

Mattia held on to your hand while grayson placed a hand on your back guiding you to the deck. He then wrapped his arm around your waist and you fell back into him letting him kissing your temple. Mattia went back over to his parents and ethan immediately picked him up pointing to the fireworks. Ethan and emeralds twins, sofia and reign, were fast asleep. (something all of the adults wanted to be right now). But that wouldn’t be for very long due to the noise of the fireworks, so ethan and emerald were glad their oldest got a little alone time on new years without his very loud siblings.

“can’t wait to do this with our pup next year” you hum swaying against grayson. grayson nodded, you could see his smile in your mind. you knew he was thinking about it, you, him and the pup wrapped up together swaying outside to fireworks and each getting a little new years kiss.

“5 minutes until the countdown, bud” ethan said making mattia giggle with excitement. He was so excited about, one staying up late and two getting to say goodbye to 2020 with all his favourite people.

“i’ll go get the pups” emerald said walking back into the house and heading upstairs.

Soon enough friends that were also living there gathered outside with the dolan family. you turned around in graysons hold, your stomach getting in the way, you just rolled your eyes.

“hopefully our pup will bring some good luck” you say and grayson nodded kissing your forehead “i know he will.”

The pack members all gathered around and started chanting down from ten. you grinned wrapping your arms around grayson.
