A month had passed her by and with the last of her clothes, long sleeved sweaters and other cold weather wear she wouldn't need until she visited home again unpacked and stored away in her closet, Aloeza finally considered herself moved in to their house.

She'd spent it getting to know the area around their little town, catching up with the neighbour kid and helping her mother with her work and though the days melted in to one another she kept busy enough to dull the pang of longing for home.

For the most part anyway.

"I managed to find a pokeball that Bea found suitable enough to hop into!"

"Oh, um, that's good! Oh wow- A luxury ball? How on earth did you get your hands on one of these?"

"I have my ways, it took some searching of course but I managed."

"Thank you, but why would she need a ball?"

Her mother took a deep breath and stood up from the table with a fond look to Aloeza.

"If you'd like, you can join the Hoenn trainer program and go explore while you're young."

"A luxury ball for my very favourite bug and an old bandana of your father's to keep the sun off you. I hope that when you wear it you'll remember that I love you and I'm thinking of you."

Finally the day rolled around, she was to meet him out by his lab if he wasn't running fashionably late.

She didn't mind, Brendan's dad was always nice to her in a way that didn't feel condescending. It made him a good professor in spite of his time blindness and clumsy nature.
