Last night to fall asleep I read an old fem!Sam wip that was SO good. Preseries, they’re at a party for a job and I just loved her voice so much. I loved how abnormal they were. I loved the desire and the miscommunication, it was great. But unfortunately, it plays into a very specific type of Dean & fem!Sam dynamic, the “oh he’s so obsessed with me and I’m not even his usual type, I’m very special”, which I see SO often with fem!Sam and which bores me so much. I’d hate to play into that and give it even more of a platform. It’s such a shame. I’ve been sitting on it for literal years and reread it now and then because I enjoy it so much, but I know once published I would be unhappy with the thought of it being sorted into that category.
