How I feel about this character
I love him...I love everything about him. I love his humor and his heart and his lovely relationship with his father. I love how despite everything he's been through, he never stops fighting, never gives up hope. He always believes the best in others, even when they can't see those things in themselves. And most of all, I love getting to see him earn happiness and unconditional love with Blaine.
All the people I ship romantically with this character
Blaine, duh. The OTP to end all OTPs (#otp: take my breath away) Because #Klaine is endgame, naturally.
My non-romantic OTP for this character
My favorite OTFs are probably Hummelberry and Kurtcedes.
My unpopular opinion about this character
While I was beyond unhappy with the Season 3 finale and the whole "Kurt doesn't get into NYADA" storyline, I honestly didn't see Kurt being a performer in the future. I think he'll ultimately fit in much better in the fashion world and be so much happier in fashion than musical performance.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
I really want to see Kurt at the top of his game next season. I want to see him go to New York and blossom in his new job. I want to see a Kurt who is confident in himself and has moved past the bullying and years of self-doubt. Basically, I just really ship Kurt + Happiness and am ready to see him be successful instead of being constantly knocked down by life.
Now onto Finn Hudson:
How I feel about this character
Meh at best. I liked him the most in Season 1 when he was flawed and recognizably human. But all the character's rough edges have been sanded off since he's been part of Finchel and now he's supposed to always be this infallible white knight sent to rescue all the woman and I find that to be irritating and boring. I think the whole "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" thing and outing Santana were the final straws for me.
All the people I ship romantically with this character
I really don't care who Finn dates, but I did hate him with Quinn. A lot. Those two definitely brought out the worst in each other. Maybe I ship him with Puck? I love their bromance and the few Finn/Puck fics I've read were surprisingly good.
My non-romantic OTP for this character
I do enjoy a good Hudmels scene. I really enjoy his scenes with Kurt when it's all big brother-y (just not when Kurt had a crush on him).
My unpopular opinion about this character
I found myself respecting Finn a hell of a lot more in the Season 3 finale when he broke up with Rachel and decided to join the army. Sure it was abrupt and harsh, but I truly believed that he was selflessly letting Rachel go so that she could be the "Rachel Berry" of Season 1 that we all loved. I know lots of people hated that whole scene, but it made me like Finn a lot more.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
I would like him to find a career path or direction that is believable and true to character. I didn't buy the James Lipton Actors Studio goal for a second (it was so out of left field) and didn't honestly see him getting recruited for college football either. It'll be interesting to see him in the army, as I could actually see a kid like Finn going into the military and thriving.
