I think this was the trip when my mom knocked Father Jerry's ski off on the chairlift. I'm sure though wrecked with guilt as her husband's uncle -- not to mention the man who married them -- headed down on one ski, she laughed and delivered the perfect line. My mom has had a pretty big year. Today is a great day to take stock of all that she has accomplished from her very earliest days. Thrust into leadership roles early in life, she's always been eager to sound the charge for her passions, instilling in anyone with whom she comes into contact a sense that she's "got this." A-Type before they called it that, a perfectionist who insisted on it from her sons, she has been a hard-charger in her every endeavor. Grateful to have a mom who can handle everything life throws her way. Also grateful she introduced me to Breckenridge. Also grateful she fit in so well with her in-laws, particularly Fr.
