WHAT:    Tea and Talk Ladies of all ages are invited to get to know the Piedmont Physicians Obstetrics and Gynecology doctors in a casual comfortable environment, while discovering the answers to your most pressing female questions. WHO:  Vincent Molinari, M.D., earned his medical degree from the University of Bologna in Italy. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. Allison Ward, M.D., earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has experience in high risk, obstetrics, gynecology surgery and laser surgery.

Karen Hamilton-Grimes, M.D., earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn. She is an active member of the National Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Mark Supan, M.D., earned his bachelor’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology before going on to medical school at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He was awarded the 2010 Resident of the Year Award for Excellent Undergraduate Teaching in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the Medical College of Georgia.

WHAT: Shifting levels of estrogen, progesterone, DHEA, testosterone, cortisol and other hormones change a woman’s hormone balance throughout her life, most notably during peri-menopause and menopause. In this dinner and discussion with Piedmont Physicians Obstetrics and Gynecology, women will learn ways to effectively manage one of life’s most talked-about changes. An “Ask the doctors” session with Vincent Molinari, M.D., Allison Ward, M.D., Karen Hamilton-Grimes, M.D. and Mark A. Supan, M.D., will follow.
