Is killer good or evil?
I dunno, what would you consider evil? You don't go massacre all of your kins over and over again while still staying as a perfectly good person, even if the circumstances forced onto you was hellish. Those murders still happened. But writing Killer, and the rest of the gang for that matter, off as purely evil is also completely disregarding said hellish circumstances, as well as their current efforts to make right for their sins.
It's a cliched answer, but they fall somewhere in the middle. They're still trying to assist Nightmare with helping the Multiverse, but as you have seen from the fight, they aren't just gonna do everything the morally good way. Does it matter in the end?
