4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of
gonna use this to hype up my new fic
Aaron took a moment to admire you, flushed cheeks, chest heaving, and looking at him with a softness and adoration that he had seen so many times before. Always from you, always in fleeting glances and longing stares from across the church. In the candlelight, you were practically glowing, looking as ethereal as you did the first time he met you. He should have known then that the connection he had shared with you in Rossi’s mansion wasn’t some moment of weakness, a fleeting crush that would fade on its own — it was real and enduring and too pure to be anything but a gift from God.
Outside, lightning struck, causing the colors of the stained glass window to dance across your skin. There, on top of him, holding him, in the middle of the dark church, you were illuminated, and that was answer enough. You were his new path.
11. What do you envy in other writers?
Their ability to make me, as the reader, feel the tension. As a person, I'm very analytical and that tends to show in my writer. I'm very much a teller, not a shower, and it's something I've worked on to fix.
That being said, envy feels like a weird word to use, because I read those fics and use them as learning/inspiration.
19. Is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favourite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?)
"JUST" AS A MODIFIER. And I know I need to take it out or at least use it sparingly but it just adds a little extra spice to sentences.
