So I actually got dragged to Black Market the night of the Cowboys and Indians "theme" (didnt pay entry or go inside thank GOD) as it was my best friends birthday and I didn't want to be a shitty friend. Just as I was about to leave two shitty dudes came up to me and asked, knowing what my answer would be, why I wasn't in costume. I tried to avoid conflict, but as i was was walking away they followed me to the curb and I'm pretty sure yelled 'white whore' at me. So that was exciting. Good people
this is a very good indication of the people that typically frequent black marketi'm sorry that happened to you, by the way. i won't pretend i've never gone to black market (probably because bands i liked were playing...and i like it when they play taking back sunday) but i still find many elements about it despicable.
