banksy is not!!! the “middle class snob” you are claiming him to be. I said yesterday, but my mum and her family all grew up in Hackney, East London , where he used to do a lot of his artwork around the 80s/90s - bearing in mind ((before social cleansing happened and hipsters moved in)) Hackney was a very very poor working class area- it was known for it ! My mum , uncle many other locals believe they have seen him, and I fully believe them! My uncle used to leave for his printing job early in the morning (around 4/5) and claimed to have seen banksy on the streets, as this was when he would begin his work. He wasn’t very well known back then, but it was believed he lived in East London. ((My mum described him as being: small-ish, with glasses, and with abackpack on his back))
