30) VINCENTE: What are their most healthy and most unhealthy coping mechanisms?
I think Vincente's least healthy coping mechanism is probably like. Violence. I don't actually post it much bc I can't be bothered to, but he is like straight up involved in the mob. He's a cold anger sort of person, not hot anger, and he takes a great deal of pleasure in carefully planning the most effective ways to take his revenge on people who have wronged him <3
His healthiest coping mechanism is probably like... how communicative he is with Manon? Again most of this is hard to express in posts so I. Don't. Really. But she's the only one he's fully honest with about his life and plans and feelings, and that trust and openness is very very good for him.
59) MANON: What would they want to be remembered for?
This one is juicy - in Manon and Vincente's original canon, Manon is immortal, but as a price for that immortality she's afflicted with a sort of Cassandra-adjacent curse - people never listen to her, or give her credit for anything. She's sort of a "living ghost" a la Addie LaRue (Albeit, to a lesser degree.) She's desperate for any sort of recognition from the Powerful People in her world. So I guess in canon... literally anything - but particularly, she's a master of Alchemy, and an incredibly capable philosopher. She'd want to be remembered for her incredibly broad grasp of the world - her ideas.
In the sims save however, she's significantly more relaxed. Elementary school art teacher vs. philosopher, you know? But I think the idea is still similar, she's just more successful at it. She wants to influence people, and to teach them. I think she'd care most about being a positive influence on her students, and about showing them how good and beautiful the world is. (Admittedly, she thinks many *not-good* things are good and beautiful) (see: Vincente's career, which she wholeheartedly supports) (but still.)
15) IRENE: How do they act around people they don’t like?
Irene absolutely is a character, and she's one very close to my heart. :D
She comes originally from one of Manon's (many) past relationships, where she was a hunting dog, and not very well taken-care-of. She's incredibly pampered now, but she does get nervous about strangers, and sometimes gets stressed out when interacting with other animals, or in the outdoors. She's not aggressive, though, just gets very shy and uncomfortable. I think when she's stressed she probably chews on things, but it's definitely not much of an issue because Manon takes very good care of her <33
