📝Whether you like it or not, the fitness industry is balls-deep in the era of "EnterTrainment." To be clear, I've been one of the biggest perpetuators of this in the past and still engage in it from time to time. Early in my fitness career, I spent most of my time trying to "create" new moves that were more fun than effective to get people who hated exercise to keep showing up. Now, at the "who gives a shit" stage of my career, I spend most of my time getting people who actually like exercise to master the basics. There's nothing inherently wrong with "EnterTrainment" as long as it's used responsibly and we call it what it is. After all, variety gets views and if you want your core message to be shared sometimes you have to give people what they want with the ultimate goal of eventually giving them what they need. But when in doubt, chase mastery over novelty. And if a movement cannot be seamlessly scaled or progressively overloaded, it's probably not worth your time unless you're just trying to burn calories. #TheDailyBJ #AllBJNoBS #EnterTrainment
