All Missing Things ( Can Be Found )
Draco frowned before swearing and dropping the file back on Harryâs desk. âFuck. Do you think thatâs what theyâre doing with the children? Trying to use their magic to help Squibs?â
âSurely thatâs too noble?â Harry said. If that's what the Natural Order were doing it just seemed so tame. Â Like it was a good cause that they were going about in the complete fucking wrong way.
âTheir intention was never evil.â
Harryâs head flew up to see the Wraith twins leaning in the doorway. Dahlia gave him a weak smile before walking into the room and continuing. âWe gathered that from Farrant They genuinely could be working towards helping people and the magical community. They just donât care how they get the results.â
It terrified Harry to think that this group had always been there just under the surface, biding their time through the two wizarding wars.
âTheyâre a deontological group,â Dash added, rubbing a hand over his face.
Both twins looked even more disheveled than usual. Dahliaâs curly hair was even bushier than Hermioneâs had been at Hogwarts, and Dash looked like he was about to pass out. Even their dark skin looked pale and drained. Harry wasnât surprised, because he thought they had both been working all day without a break.
According to Cho, Dahlia hadnât left her lab, and Dash had been entering people's minds left and right. He had also been fantastic on the field mission. Harry wasnât sure theyâd have been successful without him. Heâd discovered Hektorâs presence and been able to predict each of the Natural Orderâs moves.
âIsnât it teleological?â Draco frowned. âConsequences, not actions.â
Dash waved his hand at Draco and hummed. âThatâs what I meant.â
Draco nodded. âVery Utilitarian,â his frown deepened as he seemed to notice the state of the Wraith twins. âYou two need to go home, since itâs nearly midnight. You both look like shit.â
âCauldron, whatever else, youâre black,â Dahlia shrugged, a crooked smile on her face. Harry thought that wasnât the exact phrase. âYou need to go home too.â
âIâm fine, you canât tell me what to do,â Draco said, propping his chin on his hand.
âYou do look like shit,â Harry said.
Draco flipped him off. âYou canât tell me what to do, Junior Auror, Iâm two ranks above you.â
âAlright, Sir,â Harry drawled, noting the way Dracoâs mouth quirked. Heâd file that away for another time.
âLeave us out of your kinky games,â Dahlia groaned.
Harry ducked his head awkwardly.
âWhat?â Dahlia said, smirking at them both innocently. âWe have eyes.â
âYou have a mind reader,â Harry deadpanned.
âThat too,â Dahlia said, smiling fondly up at her brother.
Dash winked at Harry and leaned his elbow on Dahliaâs shoulder.
âGo home and stop being a pain in my arse,â Draco said, waving his hand dismissively at them.
âOnly if you go home too,â Dash said, fixing his heavy gaze on Draco, who scowled.
âIâll get him home,â Harry said, blushing as everyoneâs eyes fell on him.
Dahlia snorted. âOf course you will, sleep well boys,â she laughed, leering at them before walking out. Dash glanced between the two of them and winked again before following his sister.
âI need better employees,â Draco muttered.
