19. Kissing their biceps π
(Also had an anon ask for shoulder kiss, I snuck that in here too)

I make my way up the stairs, balancing two plates of pancakes. I thought Katniss would join me in the kitchen at some point, but I guess she must've fallen back asleep. It seems like a good morning for breakfast in bed, anyway.
Sure enough, she's sound asleep and sprawled across the bed like a star. She's flat on her stomach, her oversized sleep shirt bunched up around her hips, revealing a pair of tiny green underwear. She's taken my pillow and turned it on its side, so she can lay on it the same way she usually lays on my chest. Her face is smooshed against the pillow slightly, mouth hanging open, soft snores falling from her lips.
It's the easiest one of most beautiful sights I've ever seen.
I never get tired of this, I think to myself as I set our plates on the dresser. We're almost a decade in and nothing has changed. I'm still just as in love with her as I was in the beginning. Still get a thrill at the sight of her bare skin. Still can't believe that the life we have together is so good and safe and real.
"Katniss," I whisper, sitting carefully on the edge of the bed. "My love."
She doesn't move, doesn't acknowledge me in any way, I take her hand from the pillow and find that her entire arm is dead weight. How she fell so deep into sleep so quickly, I have no idea. I bring her hand up to my lips anyway and kiss her fingers, then the back of her hand. I continue working my way up her arm slowly. It's finally when I reach her bicep that she inhales sharply, then hums softly. There she is.
"Your pancakes are ready," I tell her.
She grunts at me.
"It's a good batch," I continue. I sweep a strand of loose hair from her eyes. "Lots of chocolate chips."
"Lemme sleep," she mumbles grumpily.
"The pancakes will get cold and then they'll be no good," I say. "We'll have to throw them away and that's a waste."
Her eyes finally opened, her signature scowl gracing her face.
"Why do you look like that?" she asks.
"Like what?"
"Smiling like an idiot."
I laugh. "I just love you, is that okay?"
I pick up where I left off with my kisses. Kissing her arm, then her shoulder, then her neck. Across her jaw, then finally reaching her lips.
"I'll allow it," she says against my mouth.
