Two Men and a Kitchen//Niff
Nick smiled as he pulled back into the driveway of the familiar home, comfort washing over him. A day full of Mike. Best idea he had had in a long time. The guy was probably the easiest of his friends to get along with. They were so alike, it was scary. He was glad he was able to have a day out with one of his friends. He loved Jeff to no end, but it was good to see another face after a while. Smile widening, he slid his key into the lock of his home and stepping inside, he called out to the empty house in anticipation, "Anyone home?" He knew Jeanne and Lacey wouldn't be home until later, but he wanted to make sure the house was empty before he did anything. Kicking off his shoes, Nick found his way to the living room and plopped down onto the couch and before setting his bag from Hot Topic next to him. The photos he had developed had been shoved under the seat of the jeep in a small pocket of leather that had ripped. Even though Jeff knew he had the pictures, obviously, he wanted to make sure he didn't think twice about why he would have them developed so soon. Turning on the tv, he gently placed the bottom of his feet on the ledge of the coffee table and flipped through a few channels. He wasn't even sure when Jeff would be home, but in the meantime he figured he might as well relax. Sometime later, after one too many cracked grins at badly written jokes, Nick heard a noise coming from the entry way. Anxious to see him, he called out and flipped the tv off. "Jeff? In here!"
