#alien pidge

I've been wanting to make more creatures and then I found myself working on this, a new alien/not exactly human look to Pidge, putting her with some interesting little buddies. And I love them all.

A recent like someone made on one of my stuff reminded me. I need more of Alien Pidge. Big blue tongue and all. So. Here we have her clinging to Darrell (VF Pidge) and showing her happy affection. She. Uh. She still doesn't know the meaning of personal space. And Darrell's not appreciating the mouth germs. Not that I really blame him. Poor Shiro. He's tired. And this seems to be a common occurrence.

I had started this before the one with Keith; Keith came about because I decided I wanted to work with him, too. while this base, I was debating between Bandor and VF Pidge. I love VF Pidge, but I adore Bandor, too, and I don’t work with him as much as I probably should. So.  In the end? I have him with Pidge just climbing around and wrapping her tails around him. 

So, I was in the mood for some alien Pidge doodles and when debating who to draw with her, Well, one of the options was Keith and I draw Pidge greeting him.  Goodness, how does that tongue fit in that mouth? 

Plus! @rubymoon-snape​ mentioned Lance probably saying “told you so” and I was reminded of this piece. And thus? This bonus.

Well, I had started this one some time back, finally got myself to finish it.  So! Darrell chilling with a strange but curious and possibly friendly alien Pidge/Katie. 

I assume we're talking about the one with the horns/antenna and long tail?

While she's still in the works of thinking, the main idea is that she absolutely cannot speak at all as we would be able to. No human languages, no alien languages, none. Her speech is in the form of noises, such as screeches, clicking, and trills and purrs, and gestures, at least in being able to communicate with others outside her species. With her species, she would be able to communicate telepathically, reading each others' thoughts and emotions. She could also perhaps do this with others, though being young, it may or may not be stable. This being said, it is ill advised for her to project her thoughts to others to communicate. She is young and untrained and most species do not have the mental ability to withstand that action and it could cause problems.

She bleps. She hangs. She’s too cute to get mad at.  And Hunk certainly can’t get mad at her for clinging and hanging around. He would at least like access to his arms. 

But there are hazards with this, especially if he moves too abruptly or something spooks her.

I wanted to draw this au of Pidge again. And trying to greet Lance perhaps? Either way, she has an oddly long tongue and Lance doesn’t know how to feel about it. Other than possibly curious about how she fits that tongue inside her mouth.
