Hey guys, I just wanted to share this with you all. Thanks to one of our amazing color stylists on #TangledBEA (thank you Teri!) I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with wonderfully talented and gracious Alice Davis. It was a moment in time I will never forget. It wasn’t the first time I have met her, but it was certainly the most memorable. She was so sweet to take time to just sit and talk to us about lots of things. We talked about Marc of course, but we also talked about her life and her career. She was funny and energetic. I even got to ride in Marc’s elevator with her! I shared with her a little bit of what we are doing with the show and she was quite pleased that my main focus is on character and elegance in design and color. It was great to see so many jaw dropping pieces of art in person. Not only animation related art, but fine art from Marc and Mary Blair. We were so inspired! Such a great day, I can’t wait to pay her another visit soon. What a classy woman.
