"I am a toolmaker by trade and that prevents me form leaving guns alone if there is something wrong or a feature that is missing. I picked up a Russian Vepr 5.56 with fluted factory barrel and it was a nice rifle in the rough. I started by removing the factory wood then making a couple mods to accept standard 5.56 magazines and not just the proprietary plastic VEPR mags. The front-end wears modified Magpul furniture that allows me to mount a Harris bipod while the rear stock is a Magpul PRS that is the gold standard for adjustability and comfort. It has an ALG trigger inside which makes it a joy to shoot." -Brownells Customer J Harned for Sunday Gunday
